The Salzburg Marathon offers you a chance to go sightseeing while running. The route takes runners on two rounds through the city centre as well as through quiet wooded parts, past the most beautiful sights of Mozart’s hometown. The start and finish lines are the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Salzburg’s Old Town. Why should you participate in this traditional race? The magnificent scenery, running festivals for the whole family and the various distances speak for an outstanding experience.

Following in the footsteps of The Sound of Music, the mozart 100 ® takes runners through the diversity of Salzburger Land for a unique running experience guaranteed. The supreme discipline of the mozart100 ultra trail covers 108 kilometres and 5,000 metres elevation gain from the city of Salzburg via Fuschl am See to St. Gilgen, over the Schafbergalm and the Zwölferhorn to Fuschl and back to Salzburg. With 9 competitions and 6 different lengths, the run has the right distance for every participant.
